PigeonLeague 2023 For Youngsters first semi-finalists are known!

On Saturday, August 5th, it was an exciting day for pigeon enthusiasts, as all speed flights and 1/2 fond flights were released. This marked a significant milestone in the PigeonLeague 2023 For Youngsters competition. The tension was palpable as the first semi-finalists were announced after this intensive series of flights.

The renowned fanciers De Keyser Georges and Verheyen Louis respectively chose the Bourges flight for their pigeons. As a result, they are now engaged in a fierce competition against their opponents, Vancauwenbergh-Verhaert and Berghmans Leo.

However, fate seemed favorable for Naulaerts Francois, who was already assured of a place in the semi-finals beforehand. His opponent, Van Oosterwyck Marc, had not entered any young pigeons, allowing Francois to proceed unchallenged to the next phase of this competition.

An internal struggle between board members Konings Jos and Daniels Francois made the competition even more captivating. Konings Jos emerged triumphant in their face-off, earning him a coveted spot in the semi-finals.

A remarkable performance was delivered by Vancauwenbergh-Verhaert, who clocked his first chosen pigeon in Soissons with a coefficient of 12.90. This puts De Keyser Georges in a challenging position, needing his first chosen young pigeon in Bourges to achieve a prize-winning position to stay in the exciting head-to-head contest.

On the other hand, Berghmans Leo faced some setbacks, as his first chosen young pigeon was not clocked in Momignies. Verheyen Louis stands at a crucial juncture: if his first chosen young pigeon secures a prize in Bourges, he will reach the semi-finals. If not, he must rely on his second chosen pigeon to have a chance.
