Weather forecast for the upcoming weekend
Originally, the weather forecasts for the upcoming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, weren't very favorable. However, a change is expected, with lots of sunshine and temperatures rising towards 20 degrees Celsius anticipated. Some weather maps even predict temperatures above 20 degrees, which is ideal for our pigeons!
Participation in the flight from Momignies
Enthusiasts who wish to participate have the option to register their pigeons online. Additionally, there is also the option to register by phone on Thursday evening between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM via 0476/62.77.87.
Program booklet 2024
We plan to have the program booklet ready by Friday. This will be posted on our website and also distributed locally and via email. Everyone is welcome at the local club on Friday during the pigeon basketing.
Reflection on last weekend
Last weekend, the weather was unfavorable. Thanks to clear skies on Sunday morning, the pigeons were able to be released from Momignies! This turned out to be a good decision, as the pigeons returned fairly smoothly to their lofts. The switch from winter time to summer time caused some issues, but these were resolved relatively quickly. However, this did cause some confusion with registrations as these pigeons appeared an hour earlier on the registration list!
