After the success of the PigeonLeague For Youngsters (for young pigeons), we felt the need to also create something for the older pigeons. Thus, the idea was born to start the Superstar Old Pigeons competition. This competition is open to all flights that qualify for the championships, and only the first signed old pigeon is eligible for this competition.
After the second flight of the championship, we can give a first interim score of this new competition. This competition is accessible to enthusiasts from the speed to the heavy half fond. After two race flights, there are three enthusiasts who achieve two out of two with their first signed old pigeon.
It is not surprising that Leon Vrancken is leading in the interim score of this new competition. Every season, Leon plays very strong with his pigeons on the speed flights. Also in the Superstar Old Pigeons, the strong season start of Willy Nolmans, who is in second place in the interim score, is noticeable. In third place is Georges De Keyser, a man you have to take into account every season and in all championships and competitions.
