After the exciting race from Momignies, the winner of the PigeonLeague 2024 For Youngsters is known. The two finalists, Geert Beken and Leo Berghmans, participated in this decisive race. Both fanciers followed an impressive path to the final. Geert Beken made his mark early in the competition by scoring the most points of all participants. Leo Berghmans also managed to qualify and advance to the final of the PigeonLeague 2024 For Youngsters. Both fanciers have consistently participated in the race from Momignies, where the final was also held. The final came just in time, as the young pigeons are starting to lose their feathers in various places. Geert Beken won the final with his pigeon BE-24-2093757, which was entered as the first signed young pigeon. Geert clocked his pigeon at 10:25:51 and achieved a speed of 1789.22 m/min. Although this pigeon was beaten by a young pigeon from Georges De Keyser, Geert still secured the victory of the PigeonLeague 2024 For Youngsters. With this win, he follows Georges De Keyser, who won the first edition.
The season started inconsistently for Geert, and strong results were initially lacking. However, Geert recovered, and the results continued to improve.
