Walter Lambeets from Aarschot wins the first autumn flight from Laon!

Aarschot - Walter Lambeets has impressively won the first autumn flight from Laon. He clocked the two fastest young pigeons against a field of 234 participating pigeons. The winning pigeon, with ring number 2101789-24, was clocked at 11:24:42 and achieved victory with a speed of 1316.9488 meters per minute. The second pigeon, with ring number 2072570-24, arrived just a few seconds later at 11:24:51 and secured second place with a speed of 1315.4839 meters per minute.

Walter’s performance is all the more remarkable given the strong competition. He managed to get five of his nine entered pigeons in the prizes, starting with the first two places.

Rudi Van Vlasselaer from Rillaar clocked all six of his entered pigeons in the prizes, achieving a 100% score from Laon. Robert Schroeven from Scherpenheuvel also delivered a strong performance by clocking 14 of his 15 entered young pigeons in the prizes. These are all strong performances, considering that the best fanciers have come to Scherpenheuvel for these autumn flights, promising exciting upcoming flights.

In this first flight from Laon, no less than 23 young pigeons were entered for a stake of €2.50 each. For the next autumn flight, five stakes of €2.50 are guaranteed for the young pigeons. Additionally, the autumn championship from Laon will be played with the first and second signed young pigeon; the two best results from three flights from Laon will be considered.
