Review 10/08 Bourges National Young Pigeons

For the national race from Bourges on Saturday, August 10, 412 young pigeons were basketed in Scherpenheuvel. The victory went to Gommaire Verbruggen from Scherpenheuvel, who clocked his young pigeon at 14:16:50 and achieved the victory with a speed of 1369.0806 m/min.

Roger Vandegaer, also from Scherpenheuvel, achieved the 2nd and 5th prize and clocked no less than 9 prizes from the 15 basketed pigeons, achieving a 60% prize rate with his participating pigeons. Omer Hooylaerts and Dirk Roelants both clocked a 50% prize rate with their basketed pigeons. Later, Omer Hooylaerts would also achieve the national victory from Vierzon against 16,895 young pigeons!
