The Royal Belgian Pigeon Fanciers Federation (KBDB) has recently made an important amendment to Article 11 of the national sports regulations. This change allows us to continue the championships as in previous seasons. This topic will be discussed during the board meeting and presented at the information evening next Sunday. Below is the official message from the KBDB regarding Article 11.
Due to several issues with Article 11 of the national sports regulations concerning the championships, a modification was necessary.
The members of the National Sports Committee, after consulting their Provincial Committee and by a majority vote, have decided to amend Article 11 of the NSR as follows (changes are struck through, additions are in **bold**):
Article 11 of the NSR
All national championships, whether national, interprovincial, provincial, or local, will end:
· For "old and yearlings" up to and including the weekend of the first national race for young pigeons.
· For "young pigeons" up to and including the weekend of the weekend **before** the last national race, with the exception of national championships, which will end on the weekend of the last national race.
