On Saturday, April 12, two pigeon races are scheduled: Momignies and Soissons for old pigeons, with a FREE doubling for yearlings!
The 2025 season has already gotten off to a flying start. Last weekend, 409 old pigeons participated in the race from Momignies, including an impressive 52 pigeons played to the stake of €2.50. While it cannot be confirmed, it is suspected that a new record may have been set in Scherpenheuvel.
Weekend Outlook
The first registrations for Momignies and Soissons are coming in. At the time of writing, 339 old pigeons have already been registered for Momignies, and participation is expected to exceed 400 pigeons again this weekend. For the Soissons race, nearly 100 old pigeons have been registered so far. The 2025 season is underway and will also serve as preparation for the middle-distance and heavy middle-distance races for various enthusiasts.
Overcoming Technical Challenges
It was a promising start to the season, but not without challenges. During the race from Momignies, errors were identified in the payout results. Although the pigeons were correctly ranked by meters per minute, a corrupted file caused discrepancies in the payouts. Fortunately, the adjusted results are now available online, and it is hoped in Scherpenheuvel that these issues have been permanently resolved.

A first this year is the automated calculation of the championships. As soon as results are available, standings are automatically updated and can be followed in real-time on the website.
